Digitrax decoders with Prodigy Express?

Hello!

Is it possible for me to use one manufacturer's decoder with anothers command station? I wanted to get the Prodigy express, but Digitrax's decoders impressed me, but i don't want to order decoders for a DCC system that won't be able to run it.

All brands of decoders will work with all brands of dcc systems. That is, as long as they meet NMRA specs. I'm not aware of any which don't. There may be some functions on a decoder which can't be used by some systems, but they are auxiliary functions, like transponding. The motor and light functions should present no problems.
