does anybody have any info on modeling a Missabe SD-M (rebuilt SD-9 or SD-18)? Possibly as a dummy locomotive.

Missabe's SD-M's are rebuilt SD9's. So I would start with a P2K SD9 (in HO scale) or Atlas SD9 (in N scale). The basic change would be to lower the short hood and rebuilt the cab front. IIRC there has been an article on building this model, I'll see if I can find it and let you know.

Do you have a link or web address to P2K? Ive never heard of them. What is IIRC? The missabe also rebuilt some SD-18's, do any companys offer these that you know of?

P2K is short for Proto 2000 which is a line of models put out by LifeLike Products, This line is now owned by Walthers, walters.com
IIRC means "If I Recall(or Remember) Correctly"
There are no plastic SD18's available that I know of, But it not that difficult to convert a SD9 to an 18.
