On page 44 of May's MR, there's a MK III Switch/Production Tamper from Custom Finishing. It looks **REALLY** kewl. I'm just wondering, it doesn't look like it comes motorized, is it meant to attach to the front of a locomotive? Or how does it perform its work????

Mike,
Most all modern MOW equipment is self propelled, I don't think this unit model is powered, and If you wanted to power it you'd have to start with a very small can motor.........and maybe a sprinkling of insanity.
I might have some spare insanity here that I could Email to you.

I'm not really familiar with the model you mention, but would one of those NWSL Power Trucks be a workable option?
If not just put me down for chipping in my part with the "spare insanity"! :D
