Comic Diorama Fix and Foxi Land

Hello forum,

saw the diorama of Fix and Foxi Land first in a german cardmodel forum and decided to make one by my own. I read the comic more than 30 years ago and i almost forgot it. Now is the figures of this comic are back in my diorama ....

I have used the models of year 1979 Fix-und-Foxi Land 01 etc.

Starting with the first houses of the "Schlümpfe" (Smurfs).

ongoing....

now it's time to create the diorama base. i draw the layout on 2 layer of cardboard. ...have used sand for the "ground" of the tiny houses.

Quick and dirty kind of base , doing like that (see pictures)

later on the green green gras of home i will add. hihihi.
i have used white glue to fix the sand. let dry over night.

the castle will be mounted on the small "hill". ;-))

now i go on with the gras taken from a hobbyshop. it's normaly used for train dioramas in 1:87, but its ok for me too.

on the last picture i have colored the small hill with watercolors to simulate the stones....
