Hello friends,

As Christmas time is drawing near does anyone have any suggestions for a really nice N gauge german/austrian steam loco or wagon for me to buy?
Or does anyone know of any cool items that would look nice on my railroad?

Who do you guys think is the best manafacturer for wagons and rolling stock?
arnold, fleischmann, roco, minitrix or any others?

Nick c

freight and passanger cars both minitrix and fleishmann are good...

Loco's I prefer Fleischmann. Quiet, and with superb detail...

But my Christmas present will be the SUPADUPA KATO'S TGV "Sud-est" After one year, I finnaly can buy that "little" train. The next high speed train will be the ICE, I think... let's see...

G'Day Nick.

Don't know about German or Austria locos, but MicroAce produce some great steam locos in N guage.
They are Japanese, but not too different to German locos to look at.
They are superb slow runners with good detail.
I have a C57, which is a 4-6-2.

There is a vast range of Japanese stuff.:)

Hi Nick,
I personally would go for good old Minitrix for Steam/Deisel/and rolling stock. I used Minitrix when doing N-scale, and found they all ran perfectly. Just my thoughts my friend, at the end of the day, it's what goes for you.
