We're (physically) moving this weekend, and our present cable TV system doesn't serve that area. So, I gotta go with dial-up Internet service. BUMMER! I've gotten SPOILED by my cable modem!

Yeah, I live out in the sticks. Well, sorta. The cable system in that area is going digital in April, and they hope to have cable modem service by the end of the year. And not too far from where we will be living, the phone company offers DSL.

When I first moved to Huntsville about 12 years ago, they were still pretty insolated. Now they're all high tech and fancy. Well, there's good and bad...
