Very cool! I'm an aviation fan so I'll be watching this with interest! All of my GA builds have been balsa, so a paper build with interior is way cool. Are you making hinged control surfaces?
Yes, I do plan to make the control surfaces hinged. Typing them together with Bell Cranks, probably not, but they will be adjustable. It really adds a sense of realism.

Anybody not aware of the "Allen Tam" method means, post some interest in the thread, get a model. That simple. One post wont do, though helpful posts count for a lot. Anyone have a suggestion of the final scale? 1/18 sounds good to me. With same Thin foam wings and an electric motor, it might even fly. The wings would have to be longer and wider in the chord, along with the elevator and rudder, but it's possible. Actually, someone wanting to make this into a flying model might want to make the formers out of balsa and the skin out of tissue.
