Yep, it may be much more difficult, but I think the rules have been established. announce1 Just the number by itself, no more, no less. It may also slow things down a bit as people scramble to find something with only the next number on it, but hey, that's the fun of the challenge.:wave: :wave:

Here is a loco I have never herd of, a UP GE 8500 GTEL. I don't pay much attention to older engines but I thought this one was pretty cool, BTW, let me know if this loco is called something else cause I just went off of what the description said.:eek:ops:

I think we need some more peopleto join in on this thread. There are only a couple ofus posting pictures!!!!! I think that is why itis going so slow. This is a cool and interesting thread and I hope that it does not die out!!:cry: :cry:

Not a picture related question...But kind of...
Josh's post of a single GP 38-2 hauling a good number of loaded hoppers makes me wonder why some railroads use more than a single engine when its obvious that a single engine can do the job?? What "rules of thumb" govern consisting??

Great pics guys...!!! Keep it up... I did have to look real hard to find the # on that caboose...!!! The last 2 #22 pics are sweet, but my heart leans a little towards that gorgeous M&HM 2-8-0 (what road is that??).

Here is another #24; Ironroad - BAR System GP7 (Never herd of this roadname before:eek:ops: )

You might be wondering what happened in the pic, well I have the answer, the GP7 Hit a long truck and derailed when it was pulling 3 cars behind it
