Dear Zathros,

I printed out Nieuport 11 once again. This time in its original scale 1/48.

I've already cut these parts from the paper.

However, for many parts I circled in red I'm not sure where are they belong.

So, my first step to building this Bi-plane.

Can you help me specify these parts?

I've already labeled the parts I know.

Thank you.

regards,

Shika ^ ^

This part, I believe it is windshield windows.

Should I cut it out and left only frame part, then glue with
plastic from water bottle? Or should I just leave it. Maybe paint it in blue color.

Here is a link to the designers pictures of the model:

If you study these pictures, you will see where most of the parts go. They enlarge pretty big.

I have this model. I will study it and see if I can come up with some instructions and recommendations tomorrow. :)

For a start....

The top image:

Tail skid, not sure about the next think, engine access panels (one each side) an the grey thing is a tube just above the access panels.
Windshield
Front of fire wall (just behind engine)
Control horns for the elevator
Cabane struts

Second image:

Cowling parts, ring in front, triangle just behind the cowl (oil deflector or sumpin')
Exhaust pipes (for each jug)
Not sure, may be front of engine
Goes in front of the firewall, fits the half circle on the grey piece
Cockpit, think the thing on the left supports the seat, could be wrong
Back of instrument panel, next maybe the back of the cockpit
The thing above the gun is the magazine for the Lewis gun

Thats all I got

Actually, shika, if you look at the link I gave you, the pictures there will guide you through the model pretty well. :)

Thank you burning beard and Zathros.

Let's get started.

I used cutter to cut out cockpit.

Now for the main fuselage, looking at the pictures, I think I should glue
the overlapping part at the bottom of the main fuselage.

Should I proceed on this step?
