    I know... pretty boring but it was sitting idle just a few blocks from my house. I thought I'd grab a couple of pics while I had the chance. Not sure why it was sitting. It's double track for miles so It shouldn't have been waiting on a switch. I'm pretty sure this was the tail end as well. I don't think I've ever seen less than 2 diesels on the front of a train running through here.

    Nice pictures of the 1082. My favorite paint scheme they've come up with to date. If that is the rear of the train then that is a DPU remote helper unit. Also sitting like that makes me think the crew died on the hours of service law.

    I really wanted to get closer to get more detail but I wasn't sure how colse I could get and still be safe. I'm sure I could have gotten closer but I didn't want 'em thinking I was some sort of terrorist trying to collect info on the railroads or something. LOL....
