I wholly agree. The only work I liked was the melting clocks. It was like Roger Dean's work. I like it, It's not Van Gogh. Dali was a total sell out, with the ridiculous mustache. As far as designer clothes, I usually wear a T shirt and Blue Jeans, so , to be honest, I don't even recognize designer names, none have made a dime off of me. I do also own some nice sewing machines, as my mother was a seamstress and taught me how to make some stuff. We used to make our own jackets, as she also had sewing machines for leather. Our clothes was then Branded with a label and sold in the upscale department stores, but where made in our rather large apartment in a four family house. It was "piece" work, you got paid by the amount you put our, and we definitely made a production out of it. We also made wedding gowns. At 14 pinning a dress to a young beautiful bride to be, half naked was not something I complained about, I saw a lot, and learned a little tool. I actually own a Merrow Machine that has 8 curved needles and also cuts the edge, for sewing and sealing the edges of knits, and T-shirts too. I know a lot how clothes and most things are made, having been a master machinist, tool and dye maker, and mold maker, I also had a T.V. repair shop for 10 years. Not much get buys me. I may not post what I get out of your threads, but I do appreciate what I see. I probably post more in your thread than in any other.
I personally thought that when you can put a can of soup on a canvas and be praised for that, something's wrong. Campbell's salty soups suck too. I never understood why Andy War-hole was thought to be "all that". :Coffee:
