hello all---belated seasons greetings.after a short holiday,it's buisness as usual down at the local rail yard with both steam and diesels in abundance.brand new 2900 is at the head of an overnight passenger extra bringing all the holiday revellers back to the big city

FM H-24-66 class CRG-24a,the only Trainmaster to run on the CN.It had been constructed as a demonstrator at the FM plant at Beloit Wisconsin in june 1955 and shipped to Kingston Ontario for final delivery to the cnr in aug.1955.It was equipped with dynamic brakes and a steam generator.the unit was renumbered from 3000 to 2900 in 1956.Originally assigned to thunder bay ontario for ore dock transfers then to commuter trains in the golden horseshoe area of ontario,it ended service in yard transfer duty in the toronto area.The model is from Atlas.

nutbar, those look great!

The diesel is pretty... well, odd... but those steamers (as always) are top-notch.

How come the track seems un-"edited"? No paint, ballast? Just wondering.

But those locomotives are downright beautiful. Thanks for the pics. :thumb:

hi trainwhiz20---thanks for responding---my "layout" is still very much in the preliminary stages---once things are finalized,i'll be adding the finishing touches such as ballast,scenery,background etc,etc,etc---still a long way to go yet
