Hi all: I need some advice. I have a set of A&B F-7 Athearn Bluebox RTR
and though they run just OK. I was going to re-power the A unit and
add a power chassis to the B unit I purchased a set of Athearn Genesis
F-7 power chassis and e-mailed Athearn support about any problems I would encounter, they said that since the athearn F-7 body has the same dimension they said the only problem that I would have is that the Genesis
uses the Highliners shell and and the mounting points are different. The
BlueBox Fs snap in at the fuel tank were as the Genesis uses the port
hole windows as a mounting point for their snaps. They run fantastic.
only problem is when I remove them from the layout the shells are in my
hand but the chassis is still on the track, any idea's how to mount them
with out drilling into the sides of the shells?
Thanks. I hope the spelling is ok. Oh by the way still haven't figured out
how to up-load some pictues of my mess downstairs.
Thanks again

Great Idea. I'm going downstairs right now to add a light to the A-unit
I just recieved the parts from Horizon Hobby. They're quick only had to wait 3 days and then I'm going to take you up on that idea.
Thanks again
