Some progress on the tail end, I magnetized the 2 armor plates on the back, mainly just for painting.

Some more progress, redid the cheek guns, they actually were actually from a flakvierling 38 flak gun kit so decided to scratchbuild them a little closer to what was actually used on the model(first pic is old gun second is new gun). Will be a rather big model when complete. Now onto the undercarriage so I can get the legs completed and then sit back at see what greeblies need to be done.

Been working a lot lately but I'm still making some progression. Had to cut the bottom out because I wasn't paying attention that the undercarriage is inset into the main hull. That was a bit of a set back but I think I got it alright. This is not meant to be a true replica of the movie model, but more of an enjoyable build with the hopes that is looks good.

Did a bunch of work on the legs, semi movable so I can kinda pose it when it is more completed. Lots of greebling to do but the basic shapes have come together pretty good. Last night I tried to make the circular cone part of the top of the foot but just couldn't get it right. Decided today to turn a wooden foot on the lathe and cover it with putty to use as a form to vacuum form them to keep them all pretty identical, I'll then just fit the pads I made into the bottom and complete them with the toes. Still some sanding to do on the mold to smooth it out but it came together nicely.
