Hello everybody,

I started this one about a week ago and wanted to share it with you.

This is my first model from the ALIENS line but for sure not my last (I have so many more on the list....).

I choose the blue version for my build and used

Skoda's

Toutenkarton's

and Galactican's

build for help and guidence.

To achive a smoother surface i cut off the original gluetabs and replaced them with new ones by backglueing them into place.

Starting with the pot.

during drying time of the pot i prepared the dome

Thank you all very much,

@zathros Not really, all the parts and extra gluetabs where cut out months ago. I really have only to bend and glue them together.
Of course I use the drying time of one part to glue another part so it just seems that i'm fast.

so far I had no problems with fitting it together although I did not use most of the internal formers. It goes together really good.

As promised, the left side.

Left shoulder

All the parts for the left arm

Left arm joins it's shoulder

And done

to be continued....

Yes it did. I'll better spare this one the crash and leave it on the ground ;).

All add-ons done except the part 27-28.

01.JPG

Instead, the original tabs I used a big one with a central nerve and lots of small narrow strips to the right and left.
I started to glue them together in the middle and worked my way slowly in both directions outwards trying to get all the curves as they should be.

Almost done

Next come the pictures of the finished model :)
