Someone from Canada or the US could give a better idea of local value but if it helps I paid about A$600 (or about $540 Canadian) for a double action top-end Aztec and compressor. If they are similar then that sounds like a good buy. Ask to have a test spray before buying it just to be sure it is OK. If they won't do that then I would be a little cautious about buying it second hand.

Hello Andrew. Since you live in Ottawa, you could go to Princess Auto, buy a small compressor for $100, a dual action airbrush (with 2 paint cups) for $55, some parts to connect it all together for about $15 - total cost of $170. That would still leave you with about $80 which you could use to buy another airbrush.
