It seems that MRC is no longer supplying decoders with the 8 pin connector on the ends of the wires (bummer). The new decoders come with the flat connector that plugs in to the decoder and has the wires hanging free.

MRC was kind enough to send me some 8 pin plugs but my soldering skills/tools have not produced problem free installations.

Does anyone sell a harness that plugs into the flat connector on the decoder and has the 8 pin connector on the other?

Does anyone know where you can purchase the 8 pin connectors?

Would anyone build a few for me for a fair price?

Digitrax sells harnesses with 8-pin plugs. I don't know if they fit MRC decoders. :)

Tonys Train Exchange sells the digitrax cable with the flat 9 pin connector on one end and the 8 pin on the other, it should fit as I believe it is a standard. They sell for about $5. Call them and ask to make sure it will fit your MRC decoders.
