Thanks, Andrew. To get an "old time" look, I changed the original to b&w, then adjusted the contrast to soften the image a bit.
Russ, the fishbelly underframe is from an Athearn 40' flatcar, and the high speed trucks are also from Athearn. I didn't bother changing the bolster position to accomodate the longer wheelbase of the new trucks, as I rather like the stance. It's a good thing that there's no brake shoe rigging on the trucks, though, or it would interfere with the end beams of the car. The roof and ends are scratchbuilt.
