I wanted to tell you how I did the worn one since it's the first time I've done it like this.
I wanted to use the watercolors directly with a brush instead of using them as a pencil (which makes me think about buying a watercolor palette).
I usually give a glossy coat to use the oils and then an opaque coat to use the pencils. This time after the gloss layer I used the watercolors directly with a brush dipping the tips of the pencils and blending on the surface of the model. Chips and other details were also done in watercolors using a brush and sponge which makes it so much easier as if something goes wrong you can just wipe it off with a damp brush and start over. I hardly used oils or acrylics. Then I'll apply another glossy coat to give it some effect with oils and maybe a matte coat to use the pencils as they're meant to. Brush-applied watercolors are quite resistant to handling and are not as delicate as when used as a pencil.
For now I think it's going well but I don't know if I would use this technique for a spaceship but for a mecha I think it can be useful

Thank you all, basically after shading I do what I explained with the watercolors and then with a brush I make the chips, you can also paint just the edges of the chips with a lighter color to give an image of depth.This is looking GREATyou could give an instructional on weathering.
