    my LHS recieved my ordered shay friday, placed it on the shelf and promptly sold it to someone else.:confused: :( however, they were in atlanta for a trainshow and got another for me from a dealer friend of thiers.:) just have to find 15 minutes to go get the thing. david

    thanks for all of the great info. i just drew a Z on paper, found out that with odd number of legs loco would be on opposite end of train at each end, even number puts it on the same end. so with odd number on would want to push, pull, push so cars would reach loader 1st. correct? thanks...

    same stuff, just denser. i do stained glass work and use homosote on which to assemble the pieces. check your local stained glass supply store for homosote. david

    EDIT: almost forgot, n scale! man, don't you just love those drm logging cars. but woa! the price. decide to see what i could do with styrene. .020 v groove for deck, .080x.100 for side frame and .40 strips for ends. a couple sizes of tubing for bolsters. ah, the bolsters, the tricky part...

    Need Sides On My Benchwork

    and use a screw driver (not a battery drill) making slow turns to snug it up. i am an expert at running the screw up to tight and cracking the plexiglass. david
