    A Question for Serious Modlers

I recently have moved from O Scale to N Scale last year. As from a previous post I have been looking at Model Power and Precision Craft engines. I don't own either at the present time. The question I have is, What are the best engines to purchase? I would like information from folks who have...

    Would Like Input

Has anyone read any reviews on the new Precision Craft model engines with sound? Who is the parent company? How did they get started? If they run and preform the way they seem to be set up, it would seem that they will be very good locos. They are pretty pricey! Thanks for anyone's input.

    New Offerings from MTH

I saw on one of the discount train sites that MTH will have a new set of engines coming out this year in N guage with their Proto Sound. I have not been able to find out anything from MTH's web site. Does anyone have an idea where I might be able to find information on this proposed offering...

    Whats your opinion.

brakie: That is a very good rework of the original plan. That alleviates a lot of issues that were inherent in the beginning. I usually take a 180 different approach to modeling. I usually decide on what I want to do with the scenery and create a track plan from what I want to with the scenery.

    Bachmann's Centennial N-scale Set

Siderod: I own a Spectrum 2-8-0 and a Spectrum F7 A&B. Both N scale units are very good runners, especially the 2-8-0. It is a very smooth. Either one will pull 9 cars up the 3 inch grade over the 3 foot layout that I made. The 2-8-0 will do this all day long. The Bachman products except...
