I would suggest the 8'X7' "nook" for your workbench. Then you could do a nice modular bridge that's 1280 scale feet. (whoa... a 1280 foot bridge?)

I have the Bachmann standard 2-6-2 and it is a great runner. I finally broke down and made it a 0-6-0 and it runs even better now, without the front truck hanging up on me.

I'm not much of a painter. In fact I really dislike painting. I guess if I want to model trains, it's something I'll have to learn to like.

How is that logging train going to turn around? Or are you just going to run it backwards?

What does an SW8 look like?

Can you post some pictures of your 'drybrushing' technique? Can you really get as sharp and precise as Nscale with an airbrush? How much do those run?
