Looking great so far. The Uhu glue works, I use Zip-Dri to glue dissimilar materials... ie paper to plastic... but Zip-Dri is stringy too.
Thank you! I haven't tried the Zip-Dry glue yet. Maybe on the next project. I still have a lot of experimentation to do, but that's part of the fun.

Will the excess glue peel off the windows? When they smear like that, it means too much glue was used, or needed. When I do difficult windows, I make them oversized and makes little holes and use the holes to allow the glue adheres like rivets, going though the holes, and then hardening, and it will harden on the paper, as this is usually a mechanical connection. These are dissimilar materials, and cannot exchange electrons. If the windows clean up, you nailed it, if not, and you don't feel like doing it over, just remember on the next one. The cockpit looks great. 
The excess glue didn't peel off the windows. I didn't want to force it and chance ruining the model. I probably used a bit too much glue -- ah well, live and learn. Everything is now glued waiting for the next step in the process. I tried removing the excess glue but didn't want to chance ruining the structure or model, so I decided to give while I was still ahead.

It's amazing what a little black acrylic paint will do to enhance the look of your model! I painted the inside of the cockpit windows with black acrylic -- nothing expensive, just a cheap Ivory Black that I had acquired a while back when I was wanting to explore Acrylic painting.

Here you can see the internal tabbing that I used (Kudos to @Rhaven Blaack for this valuable technique) to attach the sections together. You can also see the black acrylic paint covering the windows I fashioned. I believe this is called: Rhaven Black's 'How to make your model awesome' tip #456. But to be fair @zathros did suggest using black spray paint first. Any who, things worked out well!

And here we are: the front cockpit section is now complete! At this point I would say I'm probably 25% done with the model. Now on to the center section of the fuselage, the wings and tail of the aircraft.

Those windows look great!! They are so much better than the original ones. This will really be a great display model. I have the Russian airliner jet with the full interior. I have to look for it, but if you're interested, let me know.
To be honest, there is no need for clear windows unless you have an interior to show off, or you want light from inside to shine out. my Viper by Revell-Fan build, I toyed with putting the interior in, but decided to do no cockpit, and blacked out windows.

We do have a great WIG craft in the Resource section, it's called ESKA. It has a full interior. File is there, I just checked. This model has been remastered and looks great!!
