I hope that this isn't a necropost, but I have been able to produce color swatches with RGB and YMC values using the LAB values determined by the Smithsonian restoration group and would like to share with all of you to be able to reproduce the original colors on the 11 foot Enterprise as they have restored it. Here is the link to their findings and some BEAUTIFUL photos of the finished restoration.

I plan to recolor my TOS Enterprise model in the next month or so and build it (along with the bridge model) to present to the Riverside Area Community Club located in Riverside, Iowa. I now live about 50 miles due east of Riverside. The town petitioned and was granted permission from Gene Roddenberry to be declared as the future birthplace of fictional James T. Kirk. The town has an annual Trekfest that I plan to attend June 23-24 this year.
I'll be sure to post the recolor in the resources area!
Best Regards,
Ron
