This is DEFINITELY the go to model for the x-wing!three landing legs - "wedding" - rear outer wall beginning... The landing legs are removable, but I will glue them on at the end, as the model will stand on them (and notfly).
I use 180 paper. The best way to roll it is to leave a margin (1-2 cm), start with a ballpoint pen refill, then cut away the auxiliary margin and finally use a thicker sewing needle and twist very tightly. Remove the sewing needle and twist tighter. I use a piece of paper clip as the end, which I then insert and glue, so the tube remains stable and doesn't kink. I only use wood glue.Lovely. I have to say the tubes are looking great. Is it hard to make the tubes with the paper thickness you use?
It would be worth a tryThis is DEFINITELY the go to model for the x-wing!Maybe make a stand for it just in case you change your mind about the landing gear and keep it "in flight".

Thats a great tip to try with thick paper. I use printing papef A4 sheets for my tubes but I gone try your way.I use 180 paper. I believe that you're working off the UHU02 X-wing design, which IS the best design of all the X-wings out there. Nice choice on adding an extra dimension that wasn't there before (re: movable wings). It would be worth a try![]()
Do not forget Imcold's X-Wing. Imcold's outer hull around UHU02's innards would be perfect and ultimative.I believe that you're working off the UHU02 Z-wing design, which IS the best design of all the X-wings out there. Nice choice on adding an extra dimension that wasn't there before (re: movable wings).![]()
