So far I have built the wing frame.

Looking good but be careful on the wings. The surfaces are either too thin stock or have warped for some reason. The framework is so perfect, I'd be tempted to bring the skinning up to the same standard. Tough model. Your framework looked like a factory product!

I am building the UHU viper mark II - very challanging - very small parts.

I am looking forward seeing the process of this build. As far as I can see perfekt work up to now.

Pheebs, I thik you needs to move to thicker stock or the model will really begin to start warping and will be unbuildable, but I could be wrong, I hope I am actually. Other than the paper thickness, the parts fitment is excelllent.

Yeah I am only using normal printer paper at the moment because I don't have thicker paper.
What type of paper is it best to use ?

i use very much cardboard from kellogs boxes..
thinner cardboad from tea-boxes..and glue the prints on it..
for me it works...

i don't know with you scale if that would work...but you could try it.

But you are doing such a great job...it looks great!

My paper of choice is 170gsm (glossy, sometimes). For some pieces like formers, or whatever needs some stiffness, 230gsm. Whenever I need anything more than that, I laminate the paper onto another with same or heavier grammature, and voilà!
I use A4 and A3 sizes, the latter when I want to do something big or some rescaling (up or down).
