I ran across this photo in a box of old family pictures. I don't know where this wreck happened --- most likely somewhere in Missouri --- nor what railroad it was on. The following was written on the back of it:
"December 3rd 1904. I was on the train shown in this picture when it went off the bridge, falling about 30 ft. It was running about 35 miles an hour when it jumped track so you can see we got a pretty fair shaking up. I came out with only a few bruises. Many got badly hurt."
