The latest repaint at the Portola RR museum. WP 563 was one of two Alco switchers painted like this in the early 1970's. I don't think it is running currently but could be tinkered with and running without too much work.

Found this pic of 563 from 1968. Paint looks different. Really can't tell because of the black and white, but I'm guessing its the WP's silver and orange.

That WP engine had four different paint schemes during its career on the WP. It went onto the CCT for its fifth paint scheme then Foster Farms for its sixth paint scheme. The paint it's wearing in the FF picture is all orange with silver steps called the pumpkin paint scheme.
