I don't know how I missed this, damn, my heart goes ot to you! I hoped you ran cold water over that for a long time after you burned it. A lot of people don't realize that it is still buring even after it's dried, you don't feel it because the nerve ends are damaged. You want to initially rinse it till the hand gets cold.

I wish you a speedy recovery. I know you cook a lot too, we people who cook know how dangerous it can be. Godspeed to your recovery. :sorry:

I hope this wound will heal as soon as possible - and you'll get rid of that itch, too. Any paper modeller knows how it's to have some pain on his finger, palm, hand etc - 'cause we use and misuse lots of tools - but your case here is overwhelming. At least, if the itch is not too annoying, you can use a pc to design, rescale, repaint a paper model etc. For example, a hangar for that IS3 model. :)
Get well soon, best wishes, Rick.

Thanks everyone, a month after the incident and it seems to be healing well. Nerve damage seems to be miniscule but there is some minor flexibility issues. Im going to keep the walker tank on pause for the moment, and do an easier model. Ill be building the WH40K Jetbike, then ill get back to the walker tank.

Thanks for your support guys.1417622504268-1373232646.jpg

Reminds me of why I wear motorcycle gloves when I ride, no matter how hot it is. Hope you heal quickly. :)

Have a good time with your family and take all the time that you need to recover!
Have a Happy New Year!!!
I hope that 2015 is better than 2014 was!!!

The stretching is really painful. The more you do it, the better your dexterity will be when it all heals up though. Hurts like hell though.
