The only bit of the first photo that looks like a model is the bit of lichen in the left corner.
Unless that's a model of some Australian bush.

That is one really, really impressive piece of work, Woodie. I too, was sure that the first picture was a prototype reference shot, and like Ron, did a doubletake when seeing the car in the second picture.
