the cockpit shape to me looks like an FW109 but the wing looks to high on the fuselage for that to be so. oh well....i've got nothing to lose......

Very nice. This aircraft may well have served as the inspiration for the first Swedish jet design, Saab J-29 "Tunnan" (Barrel). At least judging by the look of it. - L.
I've seen the J-29 referred to as a Ta183 lookalike although it may be a case of convergent design - the primary motivation of the short fuselage seems to be to avoid thrust losses caused by long tail pipes.
The Ta183 certainly was the inspiration for the Argentinian Pulqui II (also a Kurt Tank design) and if you believe the luft46 web site the Mig-15.
