New model - 1/48 Westland Wyvern.

Model include detailed cockpit, wheel wells, 2 sets of armament (torpedo or rockets) and set for folded wings.

Just got the Wyvren. Got the U-2 the other day.

Kinda nice having dueling designers!! :shock:

Us builders seem to be getting the best of the deal. REALLY REALLY well designed models..........VERY VERY fast! :D

No kidding guys...............keep up the good work!

John, I gotta agree with ya. Duelin' designers (dadadingdingding-insert
dueling banjo sound) has gotta be the best thing for a builder!! Keep 'em

OK............ I've started the Wyvern..............WOW! :shock:

Now someone else will have to do it justice! I can't wait to see the building thread..........:D

It really is a good model. Very Very detailed..... wheel wells, detailed cockpit and choice folded or un-folded wings. Even a choice in armaments! AND its colored Very VERY good with weathering. :shock:

I'm building it wheels up with clear plastic disk for props. Maybe I'll even build a stand for it. :wink:

Later I'm going to try and build it wings folded maybe on a carrier deck.

Yeah I'll take it to work............... them give it to a co-workers kid to have.

I'm going to put the clear plastic disks on it to simulate the props and I'll "load" it up with one of the choices in armaments Roman made for it.

I still have a few details to finish on it

I think you will like the build when you start on it.......... and it WILL be a perfect match for your Whirlwind.............. your Fury too!
