My main project for this week was to get my DC only Proto 2000's to run at a higher speed, instead of poking along. I have seven that needed this modification as my Kato RSC-2 was outrunning all of them. The photo below explains the modification quite well.
The modification is simple. It just takes time for me to do it because of the small parts involved. Now all of them can keep up with my DC only Athearns and they run circles around the Kato RSC-2.
When I looked through my photos for something a little different, I found this pic taken at the B & O museum in Baltimore. Since I am a steam nut, does that mean I should refer to this as a 4-0-0-2? Well at least it is black, even if it doesn't run on steam!

Here's the guys shooting the shiaaaaa, breeze before heading out to work..,
I just double checked the un-squashed version of picture and you are right about it being a caboose... Going to fix my post in a minute.
They have had different rolling stock down there over the years but I usually avoid downtown Newport until early winter when the tourist flock... wherever they flock too. As it was, the MA driver behind me was using the 'inching forward intimidation tactic' while we were waiting for the light and I took the picture through my windshield since the nearest parking is 'pay to park'.
They use to have a B&M caboose and that could be it cleaned up and painted. They also have what looks like a GE 44 ton switcher but it is near the Navy base and the US Marshals that patrol for the Navy get antsy when you stop near where it is parked. I can just imagine the conversation we would have if I got out with a camera.
