CNWman, SD40-2's modern power?....as opposed to what?

they have been around since the 70's:winki: . the SD70's are what is being called the NEW SD40-2's:winki: . the SD40-2's were BAR NONE the most reliable all around best diesel engines made:winki::mrgreen: , MANY are still used on class A roads, and even more are used on short lines today:thumb: . though for TODAYS needs, the SD70's are just as reliable, and more suited for here and now on class A roads:thumb: .
you mentioned getting a Rio Grande engine:thumb: , the Rio Grande paint scheme with the LARGE "speed letters" is one of the best paint schemes i have ever seen:winki::mrgreen: .
i seen you have acquired a BL2:thumb: (VERY COOL engines:winki: ), i always really liked them(sharks too:mrgreen: ), my problem is i don't model any of the roads that have them:frowns: , and I'm kinda a stickler for prototypes

ops: so i just cant find it in me to paint the brand new BL2(and shark) i have in UP colors...so mine are still just sitting in their boxes
