Deano, I have no clue what sound system it has in it. Its from the newest run, of low ditch light BlueLine units. I have yet to hear the horn sound, as I'm not picking up the kicker, and I have no dcc to test it on yet.

ops: ...i cant find my FM builder plates, so while i was ordering them, i ordered the sill railings:eeki: , kinda cheating on that...ops: ...instead of making them myself:eeki:ops::119: .

(do they come with sound?) mine is the second run BLI "full blown" DCC with QSI sound AC6000(see pic below). i am REAL CURIOUS what the "blueline" series is like, PLEASE post your findings after you test it:thumb: . (i am pretty sure they DO NOT have DCC in them, but they are DCC ready, might want to test it on DC first:winki: ....OR, read the book that came with it:119: ).

Well, this is the LAST pic i am going to post of the Progress i have made on the FM H10-44, I wont post anymore till its finished:winki: .
i installed the side railings, made the rear railings, installed the glass i made, made the extended stacks, installed the horn, and front & rear steps, step to rear door, and did a bunch of paint work.
i still have quite a bit to do:winki: , but i am waiting till i get the sill railings in to see how good a fit they are before i do any detailing to the lower front & rear of the unit.
Since this project took up a lot of time that could have been spent on the layout:roller: , i am going to make an entry in my blog this week on just what it took to do this project, i will have pics of every step along the way:winki: .

I finnaly set down to get a few things finished ..Here's a couple of Hi Cubes I have half done..still need to do the other sides and ends...still have a gon to finish up , an engine and a couple of MOW cars...Here's the Hi Cubes..

jbaako, Deano, I doubt that BLI developed their own sound system for the new BlueLine engines as they claim on their website. I don’t know if it’s true, but on the website of a German BLI dealer I read, that the sound chip is made by ESU.

Deano, Kurt. The sound in Blueline's are BLI/PCM sound...
The sound is just beautiful, the only issue I have is that they claim it can do 18" but my lead axle derails on 22". Lucky me, my tightest on my future layout will be 26".

awesome pictures guys!
I was out for a few days, so i couldn't really submit anything, until today of course!
I was dissappointed, as i was down in Cape May NJ, and went to the station where the Cape May Seashore lines supposedly has a few RDCs and other budd cars, as well as an F-unit at one time. when i was there, i saw nothing. I randomly passed CMSL's maitenance yard, and all that was there, was an old (I'm guessing CNJ) commuter car. I wasn't able to stop for pictures, but i did do a drive by shooting, with the last space on my memory card on dieing batterys, so here it is!
I also got some good pictures of my models! today, we chase a heavy freight of chemicals pulled by a B40-8, and a SD40. Along the way, we will see some NJT commuter equipment, and watch a small switching operation.
the Big Blue train passes a small yard on it route. It looks like GE power in this shot, both old and new.
The train moves on to its destination as the afternoon turns to evening.
An aging NJ transit E60CH sounds off its unique horn as it departs from a station just to the right off the photo. (note- I found the other panotgraph parts!)

I'm not sure why but I've always fancied this picture...
Maybe it's the catenary overhead or the station on a curve... or possibly the fact that you can tell there used to be a switch in the foreground that now seems to be gone.

I'm glad you enjoy the pictures, kind of makes me feel I can give something to you younger fellows. I'm not able to run downstairs and take photos on the layout so this is my contribution. Sure hope I don't bore anyone. The early days of Conrail were very colorful. I have seen about everything from my back yard. I did manage to take a few pictures too.
