A truck trailer thats been crushed. I had to look for a few minutes to figure it out.

That is ...or was...a trailer from a Trailvan train resting in that gon. Why do I think Pennsy fans get some smug satisfaction seeing that healthy Pennsylvania box car with the keystone in the photo?

Hello everybody.

I just want to say that, even if I don't find time and energy to post,
I still do a lot of lurking. It's great to look at all of these photos whilst
sitting, relaxing, and drinking coffee.

Thank you, all of you, for your photos.

At last, here's one from me: it's a photo, and I hope you agree that it's fun.

In a dark, dingy corner of worktopland, scraptown began to boom
as the railroads switched away from steam. Those heavy lorries
really churned up the roads as they carried loads that today would have
the lorries impounded. They were run into the ground.

That switcher has seen better days, and it won't be long before it
joins all those fine steamers. But hang on! The owner is a railfan!
Do you think he might be persuaded to conserve it?
