weekend foto fun friday 5/9/03

At the engine house, a 2-8-0 Consolodation waits out its last days on the Central New England. One of those new fangled diesels idles nearby. Unless the "head shed" decides to donate it to a museum, its the scrappers torch for the old girl. One can only hope and pray.

Neat pics! Tyson, I really like the frame around that shot. 88, cool use of black and white. Interurban, I've been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy all of your photography. Thanks for taking us on tours. Brakie, red windows not withstanding, those are a fine pair of geeps!

Nice work so far!!!......

Here's mine - a Before & after my Home grown Coal load addition.

Made with Balsa Wood & Aquarium Gravel. And the car "weathered" too. :)

I don't know who posted the HO version & I cant find the thread. But Imitation Is the sincerest form of flattery, No???? :D :D :D

Not a whole lot of time but, I was able to do a little grass growing and painting handrails on my p2k GP30. Can't really tell sine I have to wait till night time to get a good pic. I get too much light with that window.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

I posted this photo on another forum, & then realized that there is an out-of-scale object in the photo...:o
Can anybody identify it?

I spent most of the weekend replacing windows, but did get a bit of train room time. My son Matthew brought in his Great Northern set (A past Christmas present) and ran it on the layout.

Here, the local mixed waits for his "varnish" to finish loading up LPPs at the new cardboard station.
