Nice pic Robin...I don't know how you guys do N gauge..did you paint those figures? If not, I wonder who did? Amazing.

I know this a dumb in a neophyte kinda way question, but why do they have water barrels on bridges?

Ima, those two characters came painted. I have yet to try painting the ones I am making.
The reason for water barrels on a trestle was to fight fires caused by engine ashes. A ready supply of water was always needed.

Congrats on the new camera Robin!
Now that fantastic modeling of yours is looking even better!!
Can't wait to see some more!

Great stuff!

Ya wanna really impress 'em- take a finely pointed pencil to those timbers to indicate some nails. Don't go overboard- but you'd have convinced me this was one of the big boys with lots a space and gimmicks.

Looks excellent.

Good idea Mark. Thanks for the tip.
Jon, if these guys expect styrene, then they are sweet out of luck.
In my little world they have to exist on a cardboard diet. Maybe that's why they are on the heavy side. More nutrition in cardboard and white glue than styrene has.
