The reason the model twisted is that the tabs caused the problem. You are better off cutting the tabs off and making your own. This causes the edge to be stronger, and you can fit the parts together better. Tabs never allow the adjoining pieces to be on the same plane. This is the most common cause for twisted models. Also, some parts that are printed as large sections should be cut. The front sections that hold the frame that holds the nacelles is a perfect example. The front and rear pieces had to be perfect otherwise the model would twist. The parts were made using folded tabs, and this caused an accrued intolerance. These front and rear pieces are what forms the shape. If you start cutting off those tabs, and make your own, you will end up with more squared and plumb models. Everyone has had this happen to them, so you truly have joined the club.
