Wow! It looks like you are off to a very good start! One tip: If you cut off all the tabs and use paper strips to connect the parts from the back side you'll achieve an even cleaner result.
I have to agree and echo @Revell-Fan. You are off to a very good start! I am looking forward to seeing how ti will turn out!
This model has a great deal of greebling potential!
Where the letters are written , the overlap, try and clean that up by making the name of the ship colored on the edge. These tiny details will make your eye pass over the area. Tabs will really give you an accrued intolerance problem. You're better off cutting strips tailored for each part. Glue one strip to once side, dry fit when strip is dried, and you will see how much nicer the edges line up. This method puts adjoining parts of the same plane. Looks really good so far
Still going. This makes a nice distraction from current events. I’m not gluing the support in because the instructions say that in final assembly the supports are in the way. Anyone built this one? Advice?
Kinda stopped posting but I have been working steadily on this Voyager. It’s close to done! Here are some process Picts. I learned a lot on this model. Cut off the glue tabs, color the sides of cut pieces, and when in doubt be creative!
She looks beautiful, much better than my first attempt! I'm currently building the same model for the third time lighting it up as well, progress has been delayed with moving in the last couple of months.
