Yep, the man at Walthers told me he checked all their archives and couldn't find this one.

Perhaps, someone has an old kit which he's recently purchased on Ebay like I did. Scan it and email it to me, p-u-l-e-e-z-e?

What vintage are we talking about? and what sort of observation car?

Vintage Walthers Details

The end of the box sez, "7801 80' Observation less trucks".

This kit predates my first experience with American HO (1954), the first being Marklin (1952, purchased in Germany), so let's say, late 40s or early 50s.
