You know I hadn't even thought of PDF, they are all in Zips atm as BMPs.
Small Missiles completed posting a set to Getter, for testing.

Managed to do a quick model of the launch arm, needs more detail and a way to hold it rigid. Have designed a base but gonna look round for reference and inspiration.

Hee hee, here's a challenge. Build the Super Fighter and that launch-arm in 1/144 scale :p

Launch-arm looks great as usual ;)

Getter1-Way ahead of you on the 1/144 scale thing ther Getter! I've been experimenting on reducing the fighter to just that size. I haven't got it right just yet. But it's almost there! My math skills aren't what they should be!:p

Janx-That arm looks great! If you want some inspiration for a base, I'll take a couple of more pics out of my Macross DYRL book for ya. The Valks launched from the arms came out of a hangar. It will be easier to post the pic so you can see. Give me a bit and I'll get it up for ya.

Janx-I actually could do this if you or Getter would let me know about what size it should be. Preferably designed to print on both A4 and Letter size so's it wouldn't distort when printed. :thumb: Unless you already have something waiting stage left.

To get 1/144 set the BMP to print at 10%

Should've asked me bout that ;)

Ok the test run for the single seat cockpit is done and only had 3 tiny mistakes to correct :D

Ugg...... now I got to do the D cockpit :p

Overall I'm pleased with the results. I didn't make a clear canopy as this is a test unit. I need to make a mold so I can mass produce the canopies in acetate :D

Anywho, on with the pics!!!

Here's a few more shots :D

The D version will have to wait a few days as I need to build Janx's new AMM-1 tripe missile paks now :p Need to re-build the HMM-01 micro missile pods to as the ones I built are way too big :p

Also I'm debating on whether or not I should do the TV version cockpit? The references I went by and the Hasagawa kit protrays the DYRL ver. cockpit. The TV ver. has quite a few diffrences that could warant another round of design. I'm not wanting to but if there's enough who want the choice I'll do it :p

Enjoy the pics :)

Getter-You're killin' me here! You realize, don't you, I now have to scrap what I've done on the 1A, and start over so I can add the cockpit! That is absolutely freakin' awesome! You've got to be using a CraftRobo for your parts! I would like to see the TV version, but only after you finish the 1D. You and Janx are amazing. :thumb:

ltla,

I will tackle the TV version but as you say after the 1D ;) Tha one "shouldn't" be too difficult, extend the rear and add another seat but it needs a rear consol to.

Don't scrap that A. Can the nose section be cut off or is it too solid ATM? Either way finish that puppy :D I want to see the DYRL ver. complete. Only my test units have been built (and recycled :p ) so I want to see an actual full scheme done ;)

Craftrobo? Forgive my igrorance. Thanks for the kind words to.

CraftRobo is a machine that cuts your parts out for you. I think Kooklik has used it for some of the parts on his 4-8-8-4 Big Boy Steam Loco. Amazingly accurate parts. I know you're not using one just giving you a compliment on your cutting accuracy!:thumb:

Nah I won't scrap it, and no I couldn't cut the nose off even if it wasn't glued as well as it is. That's the best job I've done on the nose to date.

Janx You are amazing! :thumb: I was just starting up Sketchup to do the same thing! Since you have gotten light years ahead me, I will defer to you and your design. If I may make a suggestion, drop the arm to sit under the edge of the door. It actually retracts back inside the hangar bay.

Righto Itla, had alook at the intro to DYRL. and your right the shots of the arm are not great:cry:.

Ive done a prelim test of it blue (deck of the ARMD) with your Logo Idea. The base could even be layed on its side.

Any chace you could sketch up some ideas for the door interior, as I am not good at inventing this kinda thing.:p

The Vf in the image is one of my own and not Getter's excellent model, just there for the look of the thing.
