Very Small Motors

What a neat animation idea Ray!:) Great!

If you want some motors even smaller see if you can find some broken pocket pagers....the kind that you can set to vibrate instead of beep. The vibrator is a tiny little motor with a counter weight on it that makes it shake. Just pull off the counter weight. They work around 1.5 volts but will probably stand more.

Phil.

Yes, the hangers are smaller then the aircraft. The hangers are kitbasch, ane are for smaller private aircraft, like cesna or piper, etc. The two DC-3 you see in the photo are in and out, and not based here.
Have not been able to find small single engine private aircraft anywhere. ILL KEEP LOOKING.

:) :) :)

Ray,

LOVE the aviation flavour on this part of your layout (my other passion is aircraft).

What DC3 models are they? (scale/manufacturer)

They look really sweet.

My airport was so big I had to make a choice between IT and my model railroad. Now it is dismantled so I can run trains. <Sigh>

Airport photos on my website:-

To answer your question, I don't know. The motors are used for RADIO SHACKS small remote control cars, which are only 3" long.
Max. voltage, 3 volts, and they have very little torque. I'd say no.
