I think the "Jerome and Southwestern" series was later offered in book form from Kalmbach like they do many of their project railroads. I think the title may have been "HO Railroad That Grows."
Thanks, I appreciate the effort.Tyson Rayles said:Don I came up empty, don't have those issues anymore. I checked at the store to see if we still had a copy of the book, no luck there either.![]()
ezdays said:I'd like to see that article. Ray Marinaccio has a better handle on some of the railroads that ran up in that area, but I know that the tracks that the Verde Canyon RR is now using were laid for back in the 20's to service the mines up Jerome. The tracks go well beyond Perkinsville, the turnaround point for the tour.

For what it's worth, the MR site is wrong. Thanks to Jim, he saw that the series actually started in Feb. '82 and brought me all the '82 issues. The follow up articles were in April, June. Aug, Oct, Nov and Dec. as well as Jan and Feb of '83. Had I pursued finding these issues on my own, I would have been looking for the wrong issues. Jim, I thank you once again.Tyson Rayles said:Glad to hear you got ahold of those issues, I think you will really enjoy that series!
