I just snagged a vac-u-form off of e-bay. while surfing the web in research for scratchbuilding I seen a site that said these things are the cats meow for making stuff outta styrene. has anyone ever used one.

Not since i was a kid. They worked well if you followed the instructions. Inserted the "styrene" into the holder. Let it heat up on the one side. Flipped it over onto the form and pumped away to vacuum it down.

)They do work pretty good....I gave one away a couple of years ago when I got out of airplane modeling....they were great to make canopys for aircraft. Yours looks like its almost new.
