USS SULACO by SKODA/ Jan Rükr / 1:320 Tuning

Put it in front of a white sheet or black background with preferably single source lighting (to imitate a star). Take your pictures and then import them into Photoshop or another photo editor. Remove the background and replace with a starry background or planet/star background.
All you have to do is to photograph the model in the same positions as if you were filming it. Angles from below are most effective because they stress the size of that thing:

Don't worry about the background, it can all be edited out. You may lay the model on its side to get a good perspective. (ILM filmed the Enterprise-D upside down because they feared the saucer would break off the neck if it was filmed in the correct position.) I have much experience with picture editing and could help you with the backgrounds.

If you can send me some pictures of your SULACO with a plain background (white, green, red, for example... blue wouldn't be good, because there is too much blue in the model) I can make you some nice photo compositions.

It's well deserved and a humble token of what you accomplished.
So many hours of effort and craftmanship created a model that presents the ultimate example of papercraft in my humble opinion.
There are so many fantastic builders here but your work and this particular model just gets to me somehow....

Congratulations! I would have been surprised if you DIDN'T win a prize with this awesome buildup.
Indeed, simply scale it up the same percentage you scaled up the paper parts. At the moment Jan has only the first part of the laser cut stands available for download on the SULACO website, but I sent him the ones for the aft part of the ship a while ago, too. I don't know when he will have time to upload it - so if you want to get the files simply contact me, and I will send them via e-mail.
In case you don't know hoe they look here is a picture of my partial build SULACO from last september, resting on the complete set of acrylic bases:
I plan to use a large mirror as a groundplate in the future, so that you can easily see the underside of the model, too.
