What plans are you using?
BTW, the first 16" turret had a big US flag painted on top: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USS_Iowa_BB61_Iowa_Explosion_1989.jpg, with all deck surfaces a darker gray than the bulkheads and sides.

Great build. Your models look great with the bases. Fancy doing a sheet with the other 3 pennents. All 4 Iowas could be built in line.

The Iowa is looking good - and it's nice to see the 1980s version built. However, I'm still curious whether you use plans, or just freehand it from pictures?
