You are off to a good start.
It looks like whoever designed that model used pepakura to unfold it and add the glue tabs. I would like to suggest just cutting the parts out without the glue tabs and just use strips of paper/cardstock to join the parts. You will end up with tighter seams and fittings.

I really am looking forward to this build thread!
I have had this and the Shermin Class cargo drone (both done by Bones) for years and never started them for lack of directions. Maybe from this thread I can figure out what goes where and how to best complete it!
Please share details of the parts locations, any tips you have on fitting it well, and and suggestions on a better build.

Sounds like a great idea. Esp on the parts where there is more glue tab than part!
The drone one being the SS Caroline by Bones?
Yeh lack of instructions is a challenge. Tbh the biggest challange/worry to the nacelles and pylons cause there is zero indication how!

- Make sure to fit the parts highlighted in yellow and blue below beofre closing the main body up
- Make up the nacells and pylons before then attach to body. There are no lines to cut to insert pylon into nacelle or body to have to guess
- Don't bother trying to do the tiny tiny glue flaps - you'll drive your self crazy - I started using Aleenes glue (on recommendation from here) and small parts will glue without flaps - tho its tracking and I've found it useful to get a twezzer set to hold the tiny parts

Another update. Got some more done as was up early this morning cause 4 year old son wanted to go downstairs
I took some pics on the parts I cut. I took advice from others and ignored the thousand tiny flaps the software had made.
Also,so glad I changed glue (using Aleenes Orignaly TACKY GLUE now) as my old glue (copydex) would never have allowed the tiny details
Some real fiddly bits here, there are issues (bit of warping and some of the joins) but it'll look fine on a shelf!

It looks good! Detailed stuff like those arms, usually are very tricky. The only suggestion that I can give you, is to just take your time and build one piece at a time. If you have to, take breaks and clear your mind. Do not allow frustration to kick in. Not only will it destroy your project, but it will also destroy your interest in the hobby as a whole.

Great build! The ship reminds me of the TAS support vessel that I began unfolding. I'll get back to it soon.
