This has peaked my interest, I am going to seriously consider trying this project, I don't knowwhat it is about the bridge of a starship, I am totally fascinated by them.

BTW: A few years ago someone made the movie version of this bridge. You may want to hunt it down.

There are models of the -D, and -E bridges that were commercial via eBay, but I'm not sure of their status now. Skip, aka "skupilkinson" designed them and is a member here; http://www.zealot.com/forum/member.php?u=33153 You could send him a private message to ask if or where they might be available.
