First off, TOS is awesome, and I have to say, the best. Kirk is better!! I found this model at paper Hollywood, which linked me to another site which I beleive to be the Lower hudson valley gift shop or something like that. It is a fantastic model with excellent instructions. It is identical to the original bridge in the episodes, I spent time comparing while watching, and it is in a very good scale.
I know it looks rough, But it's only my second model I've ever made. I cheated on the chairs, they had tiny tabs that I didn't want to cut out, so I cut them into rectangles instead.
I also had trouble with getting the seat pads to match the curve of the chair back to glue it on. I have a dowel and skewer I can use for curving, but it didn't work the way I thought.
Lastly, I used pliers on tough spots where things didn't want to come together. Squeeze extremely hard, and viola!
Feel free to post comments and advice, or even criticism. Also, post models you have enjoyed, I'd love to try them out.
Thanks!
